T’ou-Se-We Museum

Founded by a church in 1864, Tushan Bay Orphanage not only raised numerous orphans, but also established an art craft workshop and developed the talents of the kids in painting, sculpture, printing and wood carving. Ren Bonian, Liu Haisu, Xu Bethong and other respected art masters used to teach here. Renovated on the site of the Orphanage, the museum presents the paintings, wood carvings and other creations from Tushan Bay Orphanage. One of the museum icons, the Archway shows the perfect mix of Eastern and Western arts, which has been exhibited in three World Expos, before it returned to its hometown after spending nearly a century abroad.
