Shanghai Museum of Public Security
The first polic-themed museum in China, it tracks the century-old history and evolution of the public security authority in Shanghai as well as the contributions of the police team in the prevention of crimes, protection of infrastructure and maintenance of social stability. The facility deals with various aspects of public security like criminal investigation, traffic, jail and fire fighting in an area of 8,500 square meters. It gathers over 10,000 exhibits ranging from late Qing Dynasty to today, from all over the world.
