Shanghai Museum of TCM

Opened to the public in 2004, Shanghai Museum of TCM is the earliest and largest specialized museum on the history of traditional Chinese medicine, including more than 14,000 historical relics even dating back to New Stone Age, over 6,000 ancient and modern medical books and more than 3,000 copies of medical publications. It encompasses of five exhibition halls, namely General & Healthcare Hall, Acupuncture & Massage, Chinese Medical Formula, Chinese Medical Culture and Chinese Medical Education.
